I am having problems trying to get on to opticraft smp server

[Lema]

Hi,
I am having problems logging on to the server, after it does logging in it says connection lost. Is the server down or is it something to do with me?
Thank you for reading,
Radlam

Don't worry you are not alone.

It's just Mojang networks experiencing login failures for various servers around the world.

Yeah, I am also experiencing the same problem.
What is happening? If I may ask.

EDIT: Salas answered my question.
