- Complete wipe of the server (all worlds will be available for download)
- Simplification or removal of the economy system.
- Addition of pvp modes
- Addition of a player trading system
- Points system where players accumulate points for things like voting and doing everyday survival activities. These points can be used to buy protection or rare items.
- Change to a player defined protection field system
My opinions: Yes No I'd be interested in more info, but right now leaning towards no (We've tried this before....) Doubtful if this would make a huge difference No Doubtful if this would make a huge difference On a different note, I'm totally opposed to all these changes without two things: 1. I still think bungee should be the only priority of the server 2. A revised statement about OptiQuest (Don't try to work on them simultaneously...)

I don't get why everyone has both str pots and diamond armour. Surely just removing both would make it more simple.

Surely it's at least worth looking into? It's a proven problem with a pretty simple fix (Opti, or someone with full Admin access needs to edit SMP mod permissions)

Hey spam, hope you are doing well with yourself
Its been a long time for me too...Only today I caught myself walking down memory lane and wanted to see how opticraft was doing. I miss the golden days. I miss all you guys. I miss all the mega builds. I miss opticraft in the 2012 era.
Well its a piece of my life I will always cherish. Thank you all who were there 
I dont expect many people to remember me, but I sure as hell remember you all.

Minecraft is NOT dying.
Adams later went on to tell Polygon that the number of users playing Minecraft on the PC peaked 1.4 million on Friday, January 9. Interestingly Adams would later go on to say that approximately half of Minecraft players are going with single-player while the other half is doing multi-player. By comparison, not a single Steam game, not even Dota 2 has topped the one million concurrent player mark yet.
The PlayStation and Xbox console versions are going strong as well. The combined might of the PS3 and Xbox 360 passed the PC version just last June. With the PS4, PS Vita, and Xbox One editions now in player’s hands, and with a significant update, this train will not be slowing down anytime soon.

According to their stats site 13,000 people bought it in the last 24 hours, and I think that is just the PC version.
Picking small points here, but dota 2 passed the 1 million concurrent mark basically 1 day after that article was publishedMaybe Minecraft isn't dying (I'd still say it is, but don't feel like the argument today), but Opticraft is. To me, that says something interesting, either about Opticraft, or about Minecraft in general.

Minecraft isn't dead, it's still enormous (65 million sales - most on the PC and third of all time after Wii Sports and Tetris - not a small feat by any means...), rather the direction of the game now is different than it was.
By that logic, you could say the PS2 isn't dead, because it sold 155 million consoles (according to wikipedia). However, a game hasn't been released on it in 3 years (which was actually a shock to me, I expected it to be way longer ago). It's basically dead on this point (I'd estimate it as having 5% of active players compared to its peak). Hello.
I'm on a very long holiday now. I thought of returning to playing Minecraft on a daily basis but I need to figure stuff out about my Minecraft account first (especially as I haven't played since before Microsoft bought Minecraft so I am not familiar with the changes in the launcher and whatnot).
Main point is, I am going to return to Opticraft in the not-too-soon future.
Hope to see some familiar names around.
