You seem to have collected quite a lot of bans on our server for someone who hasn't played. I would like to know why you are trying to lie to us? It will not get you unbanned.

If you take a second to think about it and/or experience it, you'll find that a community based server is more fun than a ranks based server. Ranks servers are over and done with once you reach the top of the ladder. Community based servers are more fun simply because of that family feeling.

Opticraft is about building and being part of the community, not ranking up. But if you feel you must leave, I won't stop you. We will hope to see you back one day. Good luck with what you go into next.

Adding more ranks in between wouldn't help. They would need to be just as hard to get, but I feel that you are suggesting they should be easier to get. If the are easier, players will fly through them at the same speed it would take to get from guest to crafter. Example, it would take someone 4 months to get crafter, with or without more ranks in between.
Also, everyone has different building levels when they join. Not everyone is going go be able to achieve crafter. If they could, then everyone would be crafter instead of recruit, which you say is a problem.
My question is, what would you do after you achieved crafter? You wouldn't have anything to work towards, and you would probably still leave.
The opticraft server isn't about ranking up and never has been, which is what makes it different from so many other servers. Our creative server is about building and being part of the community, ranks are just a perk, a side note.
Becoming like every other server would defeat the whole point of opticraft, and that should never happen.

I know a pretty good communty that has 4 very different specialized servers. By specialized I mean each has a theme like The Walking Dead or a western cowboy theme.

Spambots pretty much. The forums were never a good indication of the server activity anyways lol
Well, besides the spambots. But maybe overall server activity isn't completely accurately shown through the forum as most people who've ever played probably never made an account. However, I believe it can be useful to see how many people who at least plan on possibly staying since they've bothered to make an account.
Or just people that know about opticraft.

Hello,
First of all, you were banned because you grieved a grief trap and it takes more than a few blocks for that to happen.
Second, protection stones are still very much active, but some players do not buy or use them.
Thirdly, destruction of anything that you didn't build or isn't natural is grief, whether it is protected or not does not dictate that fact.

Im going to assume this is creative and not survival?
Also, giving coords to the builds as well as the players name would have been extremely helpful. With out it, this post is meaningless.
