So as a very few may know/are interested, Arma 3 alpha has launched. The game is 29 Euro(One of you Europeans, edit the Euro sign in, I don't feel like doing the code thing for it or copy pasting, I'm lazy, thanks) and 32 US.
I believe that its discounted from the releases full price, it includes full alpha and beta access and you also get the full game on release.
It looks amazing. Random topic but whatever.

Hey guys,
I was just wanting to know if anyone else is having any problems with the vote window that pops up when you first get on the Opticraft website. For some reason I can no longer press the "No thanks" button anymore, is anyone else having the same problem?

Hey guys, Drunz here.
I just have an idea about warp stones that could help cut down on transportation times. Have you ever wanted new space to mine in, build, or explore? Space that hasn't been touched by anyone on the server? Ok, say you do find some land that hasn't been touched and you already have a house somewhere else, say closer to spawn. And that house is where your /sethome is placed, you don't feel like walking a couple hundred to thousand blocks to get to your new area, right? Well what if you had the option to place a private warp stone/zone to your new area from your old house? Yeah seems appeasing doesn't it. Let me explain further.
Specfications:
Ok so the main idea is that these items would be sold in the market like protection stones are now. Prices would be fairly expensive because this is a luxury item, not an esstiantial item.
Pros-
-They would offer a quick way from Destination A to B.
-They would be for private use.
-They can be placed in areas such as a players home.
-They could possibly work like doors,chests,furances in the sense that they can be locked, and other players can be added to a list to use the warp stone, by the owner of the stone.
-As said before these warps will be a luxury item and will be expensive to try to keep the misuse of an item at the minimum .
-These items could also be put into a donation package for players who donate. (Thanks Nick)
-These warps can also be made public, and can be used to open a player made town/city.(Thanks iGenerator)
Cons-
-As for the cons, I'm not too sure how hard this would be to Incorporate into the server.
-If these warp stones would lag the server or not, if too many are being placed and used.
-The commands that would be implemented for moving or locking a warp stone.
-As well as other glitches/problems/troubleshooting such as a players going to warp stones that aren't theirs after using a warp stone that is in fact their own. (This is worded weird and kinda confusing)
So there's my suggestion on warp stones, any input by you guys would be awesome! Adding pros and cons to the list is a huge plus as well! Suggest things that I may have missed or you wish to be added and I'll add them to the list as I see fit.

Age:19 Location: Kentucky, United States Timezone: EST (GMT -5, I think) Join Date: I joined the Classic server around December 20th 2010 but didn't register on forum till Janaury Were you recommended by anyone?: Was recommended by Nick3308 and Mr_Mr-Mr Why you should become a moderator: I believe I should become moderator because I enjoy helping people that are in need. I was an Operator on the classic server for some time and thought I did a fairly good job at it. I understand SMP and Classic are two completely different things and require different moderating skills, I'm just stating I have prior experience moderating. I can't really say how active I can be with school and what not but personal issues, (that some may know about) have "cleared" up, for lack of a better word.. I am applying because I fell like I would fulfill an adequate roll as a moderator. I am returning to play on this SMP server and I do intend to stick around for awhile but as I said I am starting fresh again and will have to learn some of the new things incorporated into the server as well as the game. I haven't played seriously since 1.8(got bored waiting on stronghold/village update), so I don't know some of the new things in the game. Such as potions and enchants. If I do get accepted as moderator, I'll apply for OP on the classic server as well since they seem to be a bit short handed. Thanks for reading! -Drunz P.S. Dat flying part ain't to shabby either. Hey guys some of the old time players may remember me. I've been with the classic server since late 2010 and have always wanted Opticraft to get a SMP server.
Now that we have one I'll be playing again.
Just here to say that I'm back for anyone who may remember me from classic server.

Reason for application: My timezone is requested, and I would like to help people to the full extent of the operator privilages.
Why you should become an operator: I think I should become an operator because when I log in I'm usually on for a while and I am on fairly late at night. My timezone is requested. Also that I think I am as helpful as I can be, being a builder. I try to answer as many noob questions as I can such as the annoying number one, "How do I build"? I would also like to help people being griefed because I HATE those griefers. People who are also vulgar for no apparent reason need to be dealt with in my opinion. I think I would make a good operator because I am tolerant and have a good attitude.
