Why you should become a moderator: So I've been on the server for about 2 and a half years, I've become familiar with the community. I'm putting in this application because I feel I have been on here long enough and devoloped the sense of maturity required to be a service to our community. I believe that I would be a good addition to the staff team. Thank you for reading.

So, Microsoft is buying Mojang and all of its entirety for a whopping 2.5 BILLION dollars.
If we look into the past we can see that microsoft doesnt really have a good reputation of keeping a company good after they buy it. Look at Rareware, the Halo franchise, Fable, Forza (which I think is still doing fine btw), etc.
So yeah. Hopefully there isn't that much changes.

Were you recommended by any staff?: Not that I know of.
Why you should become an Operator: I've had alot of experience with the SMP community. Considering this server is literally brand new, I can't say much about it. But, I can say that I will devote my own time to moderate and assist anyone in need. I've met and know most of the staff and probably even most of the community at this time. My age does not reflect my maturity level, as most people at this age are ..well, less mature than myself. I'm not trying to boast. I'm limited on what I can say, but I can say that I think I can dedicate myself to moderate and fulfill the needs of others on the server as an op. Thank you for reading.

Please include all and only discussion about the recent changes in this thread so the general discussion board doesn't get blown up with the same topics.https://mojang.com/2014/06/lets-talk-server-monetisation/
Now we've probably all heard of it at this point (at least anyone who ever browses mojang's home page or /r/minecraft)
Now basically nothing in that topic affects us but one point:
You cannot charge real-world cash for in-game currency
I'm not sure what we're going to do with that donation perk.. But yeah. Leave your comments and questions in the replies only please.
Edit: here's a TL;DR politely given by Dinnerbone:

Ingame currency to unlock gameplay stuff is fine. Real money to unlock gameplay stuff is not fine, nor money to buy the ingame currency.

I am a freaking idiot. Sorry, but canceled again. I won't be able to be on until like 5 pm. Whoever wants to still come we can come and just play gta but in all honesty there wasn't enough people in the first place for a good meet. My apologies.

Welp. 2 years. I'm actually a few weeks late on this as my first day was like April 15th or around there. But yay. I've seen an absolute shitload of people come and go, and I've made (and lost) a shitload of friends. This place has been my go-to server when I have nothing to do or I feel like talking to the average 7 people that come on nowadays. But, three cheers. I would write a huge wall of text like butterflywolves did, but naaah I don't even really have that much to say. It's been great and I hope it stays that way.

This plugin allows you to turn on redstone lamps with a command without needing redstone. I think this should be given to members and above, but if not then at least trusted to add to the pretty limited amount of privilages we get. It saves a hell of a lot of time and probably ugly levers or redstone blocks that are in the middle of a building.

Literally all of my textures have disappeared. Entities still appear, as you can see the item frames and the text from signs. I'm going to initially blame the new Catalyst drivers, 14.1. I haven't played minecraft since I updated to test mantle with bf4. if anyone else is getting this/knows a fix, please, tell me. This happens on every world and I've tried a restart. might try an entire reinstall here in a minute if I get no avail.
This also happens in previous versions by the way.

I recently purchased an ATI Radeon HD 6450. It came with MSI afterburner installed. When I open MSI afterburner, it looks like this.
Now I have a few questions. Considering this card isn't very optimized for gaming, I was wonder if:
1) I could increase the memory clock and the core clock without going over power supply limit and accidently frying my GPU
2) If this is overall "safe"
If you need my power supply, I will have to look at it later.

Why you should become a moderator:
I'd like to become a moderator because I want to be part of the team. I want to have that job. I'm pretty sure I'd do a good job and put in effort. I have a lot of time on my hands and I have been with this community for a long time. I would really like to have this responsibility. I don't think it would hurt to let me be a moderator. I'd do my best, I'd be as fair as possible, and I wouldn't let my emotions or relationships with people compromise my judgement. Hopefully I can get this chance. I would like nothing more and I feel sure I would do an excellent job.
Thank you for reading, good day.

Wuddup. The last intro I made was completely goofy, even though me and bill gates hit up strip clubs. Yeah.
On a more serious note, my name is Conner, I'm 12 years old and i've been playing classic and smp for more than a year and counting. Bam, that's an intro. *bows down* I know you enjoyed.
