Well, i'm done with Opticraft. It was nice while it lasted but im leaving for the same reason as luminaeus. People are looking to be offended/giant ass kissing competition going on here.

Well i'm just going to state my opinion here. We all know the government wants money. So if they opened their eyes and realized that they make more money from taxes if they keep the laws the way they are.

Let's say I'm doing other things in my life but then i stumble upon a zzirgrizz's mw2 montage. It inspires me to play. I get the old disc out of a dusty case and pop it into my PS3. I get the rest of my friends to start playing MW2 again. One of my friends never got into MW2 and he felt left out so he went to go buy the game. *BAM* Now the government gets some money from the tax on the purchase.
If they pass the law then they don't get any money from that purchase because the video on youtube that inspired me to play MW2 again didn't exist. So i didn't play and I didn't get my friend to buy the game.

Some commentators have brought me to buy a game. I came to minecraft by watching a machinima commentary.

All online montages, commentaries and everything else is pretty much free advertising for the game developers.
If this law passes then lots of people will lose their jobs. Sales will dramatically drop, etc.

Sry for getting all raged up and stuff. It just makes no sense at all.

Projects / Hallgrímskirkja Church

I am planning to build the Church in Iceland. Its going to be roughly around 150 blocks wide and 200 blocks high. I'm going to do this by eye. If anybody knows of a space that large please let me know so i can begin. If anybody want to help then that's great but I don't want this to be more than a 3 man project. So, If you want to help me just ask in this topic and i'll add you. This is a builders+ project though. Thanks!  ;D

Reason for application: Every app goes like this "Ther iz like nooo OPz online at my server time". Well it is true, I will usually see maximum of 2 operators online at the same time a week. Usually, guests are saying "OMG hes destroying ma shit", even though I am not an OP i will usually teleport to them and try to tell them that an OP will fix their problems when they come online. When there are no OPs online, i will usually say the normal stuff that OPs say such as "Press r if you are stuck" etc. I usually answer the questions of many guests and explain to them how the ranking system works and tell them why they can't do this or that.

Why you should become an operator: I feel the server would run well with a few more operators.

Have you been temp-op before?: No

Extra information: I got a lucky guess when i started playing minecraft. This is the first server i chose! I haven't even visited any other classic servers since i started playing. I really hope my age doesn't hold me back here. I now have more time and i don't feel that i will ever reach crafter so here I am. Thank you for your consideration!  ;D

Somebody build a airplane and run way touching my arena type project. It is on top of my moat which was supposed to be a border. The moat being covered isn't much of the problem, but i was going to decorate the wall which i can now not do. This is on WoR and i'm sure people are going to tell me not to build on WoR because i'm a builder. I am just going to say that i started this project as the new world was open and found a corner so i wouldn't be as inconsiderate. So, all i ask is for somebody to move the airplane/runway so i can continue with my project.

Edit:He also built a little tower against my wall.

General Discussion / Builders can ban! (New tactic)

There once was a story of a griefer! He was destroying everything in his path. Corourke70 stumbled upon him when there were no Operators online! Corourke70 told him to destroy the "coolest thing" on opticraft. The griefer was unsure of himself. After minutes of convincing, the griefer destroyed one block of the giant creeper and got banned!!!!! eheheheeehehehehhe

Yes, this is true. I convinced a griefer to destroy the creeper and i would let him get away with it. As soon as he destroyed one piece, he got banned.(grief trap) I laughed and then i posted the story on the forums. I hope people will use this tactic to get rid of griefers when no OPs are online. So i just thought i would share the idea.

Edit: BTW it was robocop4444 that i had banned.
