Now that this school year has ended I have a lot more free time that I’m willing to spend on the server and it would be nice to help out once again as a mod. I miss helping people out and all I really do on the server now is walk around in circles and talk to people. It would be nice to do something productive again for a change, so vote for Kodak.

Why you should become a moderator: I have been a part of the opticraft community since the end of last January and have spent the last 8 months being an operator on the classic server. For the most part I have been around to help out every single day for hours a day since I was promoted. I love being an operator and helping out everyone that I can, but classic is not what it once was. I have less to do there now and my focus has turned to smp. Helping out others is what I do in this community now. I know that I am responsible and able enough to handle being a moderator, and I look forward to being able to expand and help out those on the smp server more as well. When handling positions like this I always try my best to remain calm and rarely do I actually find myself getting worked up over anything. I much prefer to discuss a given situation in a calm manner to figure out a solution when a problem arises rather than pointlessly blaming others which gets nothing done. I once said on my operator application that any job or task I am given is done full heartedly and to the best of my ability, and that still remains true. I will try my best as a moderator, and my best might not always be perfect, but hopefully it will still be more than enough to become a beneficial and contributing staff member on smp.

Reason for application: Over the two months I have been a part of this server I have had a large number of people send me private messages asking me can you come check my build?, or can you help me? My build is getting griefed. Every time they ask all I can tell them no I’m sorry there is nothing I can do try asking <insert online op’s name> if there is indeed an operator online. I hated saying that, nothing, I should be able to do something to help them out, but there wasn’t anything I could think of doing that would help them at all. I don’t like that feeling of helplessness when it comes to grief. I want to help the community and be able to help people out when they get frustrated or want to quit just because someone is destroying their build. I remember that frustration from when I was a guest and it’s not a pleasant experience whatsoever. I want everyone to be able to enjoy playing on the classic server and improve the quality of the server as well. I do try to help out people whenever possible with what I am able to do, whether it is destroying towers or simply giving water to guests and members who need it. While I know that when there gets to be a couple hundred guests online you can’t help everyone, I still feel that even if I could make a difference to a few it would be well worth it.
Why you should become an operator: I enjoy and take pride in having greater responsibilities and helping others in every possible way that I am capable of. I find myself to be very mature in general, especially when a situation calls for great self control. I am slow to anger and prefer to discuss a disagreement calmly without my personal emotions getting in the way. I also am a very fast learner. I am not a quitter and never do something only half way. I make sure that any job or task I am given is done full heartedly and to the best of my ability.

Hello, my name is Kodak28, but my real first name is Amanda and I am 15 years old. I have been active on the classic portion of opticraft for about two months now, the exact same amount of time to the day as noobies411 if you know him, and i figured it was time to introduce myself a bit on the forums. I don't own the full game so i spend all my time on the classic server and am currently a builder. As for my regular life, I am into lots of musical things and currently I play the piano, violin, and viola and I play soccer in my highschool. I live in Wisconsin in the United States (which means of couse I LOVE cheese  ). Well I guess thats about it. Any questions?
