I wanna be someone's uncle, I can see it now:

I like him because he was an "Agent of Chaos". He knew just how to stir up things in Gotham with just "a few drums of gas and a couple of bullets". He also shows how violence is not always the answer, you can do just as much damage psychologically as well as physically. He pushed Batman to do things he didn't want to, and created dilemmas which seemed impossible to overcome. In addition to accomplishing all of this, he is able to broadcast his "home videos" on national television without even remotely being traced. The Joker is the most realistic of super-villains, lacking any super powers, while utilizing the emotions of his enemies to his advantage. The Joker hardly uses guns in 1 on 1 combat, because he likes to "savor all the little emotions" and "bring out their true character" as he is about to seize them to their death.

Everybody has their own favorite super hero / villain, mine just so happens to be The Joker.
