In my opinion, you shouldn't rely on impressing others when it comes to building. I'm far from the best there is, but I build things that I appreciate myself. Keep building things to impress yourself and somewhere along the way you will improve without even noticing. Stay inspired and don't give up because one person provided constructive criticism that was perceived as negative or personal. I hope you would stay and keep trying, but if leaving is what you want, I'm glad you played with us here at Opticraft.

My usual account name for everything used to be "Cedrick118", RS, CoD, etc.. (I got that name from a character in Shrek, not my real name) So I stumbled across Minecraft, not expecting to like the game at all, so I thought "What the heck? -That1Guy" for experimenting reasons. It was taken, so I figured I would change it to "Gie". You can figure out the rest. My current account name for everything NOT Minecraft is Bugogy(Boo-go-gee) taken from the Korean word for "spiced meat" and spelled incorrectly. [insert long story here] Feel free to add me on PSN, or League of Legends.

The N64 by far.
It all started at my cousins' house, when I was about 7 years old. They were always playing games such as Majora's Mask, Donkey Kong 64, Starfox 64 etc. Everyday I would watch them play these magnificent games, killing things, solving puzzles, continuing a story, beating bosses, you know. I would sneak to play these games whenever they were at school and I just so happened to have a minimum day(different schools) and I was hooked. I would play these games so much and they would eventually end up letting me make my own "profile" on most of the games, so I wouldn't ruin their progress of their own. This continued for a few months until Christmas time, when I almost cried because my Mom said that video games were a waste of time. (You'll shoot your eye out, right?) Then, surprisingly enough, I yelled to the top of my lungs when I had unwrapped my very first game console ever. The Green Nintendo 64 in all it's majesty. I went on to gather a collection of around 30 games, all of which I remember clearly to this day. Those were the days, when top of the line graphics(at the time) completed the epic storylines and gameplay which have been corrupted to this day by games like Call of Duty. Those were the days when you didn't care about your K/D ratio. Those are the days that make me feel old.
