It shouldnt be. Just coal, diamond, lapiz and redstone.

Yeah, it's to prevent exploits. the only ones you can use Silk touch on are: Iron and gold, and they don't require silk touch to get the ore.

Hey guys,

I've had an Blaze xp farm for a while now, and recently it's been remodeled. So a friend suggested to advertise it on the forums, and here it is! ;D  I sell Blaze rods for $12 each and Nether wart for $7 each. I also sell time at my spawner, and carry a few enchanted diamond items (level 45 and up). If you are interested or just curious go to my in-game home at: /home albero If I'm online, or /home alberoliva if I'm not.

... and then what? Add God mode as a donation reward? Or maybe a LogBlock too, along with creative mode?
What I'm saying is that survival is already pretty easy,  no need for fancy features or unnecessary abilities that defeat the purpose of SURVIVAL.

Really that is awesome! I would love to trade with villages. But their is like no NPC Villages on opticraft :(
But still that is awesome.

You know, I coincidently own a larger than normal village, completely encased in glass and protected by 4 diamond PS's. When the new update comes out, msg. me. ;)

Liked the idea! Also, you can sell xp to the market for example to get these bottles. It would be awesome. But the reason it won't be implemented is because we have a donation for 50 levels. Optical won't want to demolish this idea as he probably earns a lot of this donation.


Probably? I mean if this was true then couldn't Opti just outlaw xp farm in general? Since the only difference between this idea and a standard xp farm is the waiting time.

I didn't know where to post this or even if there was something similar to this, so I placed it here. Anyway, I had an idea as I was using my Xp farm. What if we could "Bottle" xp like we would water? For example; I just got ready to kill a few blazes, I kill them and equip a glass bottle. Instead of the xp going towards my xp bar, it fills up my bottle? Afterwards it tells you the current xp in the bottle and you can continue to fill or you can store it or sell it or give it away. This could be a legitmate way of having an "xp bank/store" and eliminate the need to go AFK or pay to rent time in a xp farm. This is just something that popped in my mind. I'm only spit-balling here and seeing what sticks, so to speak. Thanks :P

Hey guys,
 had a question reguarding Deadlylead's melon farm. Does anyone know if she had help (If any?) to build it, and where I could find a tutorial or something similar on how to build it? I am planning on mirroring her farm when the new world comes out, but haven't been able to find the a design like hers anywhere. Help? ???

Hey guys, I'm one of the few with a protected village and its inhabitants. It is a bit bigger then normal and encased in a glass box and protected with 4 diamond PS. It is currently quite a walk away from a players home that might be perma banned..

In that case I'm going to have to contact an Op about my village.. I had a bigger than average village filled with NPCs that were fully protected (To prepare for the next update). Hopefully they can restore the population.

I really think it would be smart to wait until we can get a 1.3 seed
that way there are the new npc village types and all that goodness :)
That would require us to rebuild portions of the world.
Couldn't you hold off releasing the new world until after the update comes out? That way
The unexplored areas can be generated with all the new stuff by players the once the world opens, right?
