I was curious if anyone has been, or is still, using Khan Academy to learn math or the other subjects that are covered there. I've been studying for my SAT and college placement tests and I keep thinking about how much better prepared I'd be if I'd known about it years ago. To that end I thought I'd re-post the link for anyone who missed it the first time, and might benefit from it. For those interested, check out this video on Affordable Green Housing by e2.

There is a huge difference between plagiarism and research. Using wikipedia and other resources for research should be encouraged. Copying and pasting without actually understanding the material or the context is a bad idea. Even though I am sure that's not what you had intended to do, I thought I'd go to the bother of stating it. My suggestion would be to actually read the book. Writing the essay will then be very simple.

According to a bit of math (see below) and some other data 123, the set of ages that you have any likelihood of being be 20 times older than is {1,2,3,4,5} for which you would have to be either {20,40,60,80,100}. Given that the youngest reported age of minecraft players is 6, you would have to be 120 years old to actually be twenty times older than they are. You are unlikely to be 120 years old, given that the oldest age so far reported is 65, and even they would be 20 times older than exactly 0% of the estimated minecraft population. 1x20=20, 2x20=40, 3x20=60, 4x20=80, 5x20=100, 6x20=120

I found caps lock easier to use than trying to hold down shift with one elbow and pressing x with the other.

I think that once people prove themselves as builders, being an effective collaborator should be encouraged. Personally I think it would be rad and potentially funny to see a time lapse video of a whole team of builders creating something together.
