ID really like it if people would use their in game names on the forum to make it easier for reading apps for us ops and admin.

Yes, please use your ingame names on IRC also so people can tell who you are.

am i allowed a more simplified version of my name on irc?

mine is a rough version of my name, so everybody still knows its me.
i don't care if some people (Morten1ela oh, don't worry) don't like my IRC name, im keeping it.
Edit: Made it clear who muffin was talking to, no reason to hide it. -morten1ela

i mostly use my normal name...... though i once just spelled terre cuzz i was lazy....

yeh he was annoying, it is way too easy for people to aggravate a situation when we dont know who they are, we need people to start using their ingame names, you make the server look bad, guests can see the ops arguing with the guy they cant ban or kick or mute and then think they can do it.
STOP making our job harder, whoever you are

Morten1ela sometimes has op on the IRC so he can kick/ban them there, but sometimes he doesn't have op.

Depends on if admin gives you op or not.

Yeah so it's best to just use your in game name for IRC.

yeah, we dont care if it varies a little, aslong as we know who you are. it is frustrating when someone who we know may be atleast builder+ for them to know about the irc, logs in and causes arguments and problems.

Well yeah. Just not something like Left_4_Jesus. He was causing some major problems that day.
