I want to start a project in which we'll make the apocalypse, the end of the world!
This has to take place in a City with somewhat "Manhattan" looks, so: High buildings, street blocks etc. And with a sea near so there can be a giant tsunami :P.
The disasters taking place:
1. Earth Quacke
2. Meteorite Shower
3. Tsunami
4. Tornado (no hurricane keep it small ;))
5. Alien attack?
Just to get the general idea (I'm not that good with paint xD)

I want to get the idea of the scene in the movie, 'The Day After Tomorrow'(if i'm correct) where a giant wave enters manhattan, but with more. (The meteors, aliens, etc.)
For this project I will need a world (small, Builder+) and it would be nice to have some people helping me out. The city has to be build (just a small part ofc.) and there will have to be made disasters.
To make this work the buildings have to be kept simple, just huge flat buildings. (not ugly ofc.) The disasters will be the main thing so they'll be more detailed.
I've got the plans in my had just need the world so i can draw the lines in there to mark the places of the buildings and other things going on.
If there will be lot's of people working on it it will be a real nice scene to show off what this server got! ;)
Got a general plan:
1.) When i get the world (don't know that yet but ok.) I'll start to make the basic, land marks, etc.
2.) When i'm done with that i'll start recruiting people to help and they'll be put into side projects in the world, which will be chosen freely ;)
3.) Groups will start building supervised by me while i'll be helping where i can.
Plan B (when noone will help)
I'll do everything myself, which will take somewhat longer. :D

you should try one of those tripods of war of the worlds, and a tsunami effect like in the movie Poseidon, with a huge capsizing cruiseship right in front of the city ^^ and chasms like in 1012, omg so many good apocalypse movies ;D

and it all will fit in the world ;D
do need the tripods, thought of them but the boat... dunno :D

Good luck guys! I would say I am in, but I have said to three other posts already, sorry. I wish I would've seen this one first. Anyways, it looks like a great project.
