Yea, this isn't on our end guys.  Please be patient while Mojang tries to figure out where the power switch is.   ;)

Well, according to Twitter;

- Jeb went out for a birthday dinner 13 hours ago.
- Mojang posted about XBL Minecraft 8 hours ago.
- Notch posted about RPG's about 10 hours ago.

Nothing about the current outage.  Trying their various blogs/sites to see if there is anything there.

Ok, here's what I was able to find out;

- Nothing posted on Minecraft's Facebook page.
- Nothing posted on Mojang's website.
- Nothing posted on Minecraft's website.
- Nothing posted on the official Minecraft forum.
- Unofficial Minecraft forum has "Login Server Status - Offline".
- IRC channel is going crazy with chatter about the servers being down.

Well, there you have it.  Since it's the login servers that are down I'm going to ASSUME that anyone who's already in-game is fine.  Don't log out if you're in-game or you won't be able to get back on until the servers come back up!

Luck has nothing to do with it... I stay away from cheap "for home use" brands like Belkin, Linksys, and DLink.  I go straight to corporate-style Cisco routers.  Those suckers are almost impossible to kill.   ;D

Thats the first router i had was a cisco, the 2nd was a belkin, this one, which has lasted the longest is a linksys.

Cisco and Linksys are the same thing... But if it's one of the "For home use" ones, they're crap.  You need a server router (can plug like 20 cables into it) and you'll almost never have to replace the dam thing.  I've had mine for almost 10 years now.

I'll lock it now, just because I already posted a separate notice in the Support area.  Goodnight man!
