Title: Pick block key?

What is a pick block key and where can it be found on a laptop?

It's the middle mouse button, and it's only available on classic

Pick Block is a feature on Survival. It can be assigned to any key. The default key, I believe, is "V."

Pick Block makes it easier to put a block from your inventory to your hotbar if you push the key while you have your cursor on a block or item that you are staring at.

The Pick Block key is very buggy at the moment, and has been known to change some of the blocks you pick (stone to cobble etc.). The 1.3 update of minecraft will fix these problems. Use with caution!!!

As i undrstand it (when i used it)  , if i pushed the key wile facing at a stone, if i had stone in my hotbar it would be selected. Maybe i did something wrong..

I'm pretty sure the pick block key is only in creative. It is the middle mouse button. It is used in sinlge player if you find a mob spawner, you can pick it up. I think it may be in SMP. I'm not sure.
