why was i randomly banned?

Seven holes from surface to bedrock is not a bannable offense, I do that randomly.
If he finds missing ores, then it could be that you are using an X Ray Mod.

You know theres tonnes of holes around my area... not your's though...

Causing someone to die is bannable. You made seven (that I found) holes from the surface all the way to bedrock out in the desert. They weren't in buildings, they weren't in protected areas. They were 1x1 holes 60+ deep. I fell into one, and had I not been in /god mode, I would've died. When I flew back up to the surface, I found the area pocketed with 1x1 holes, which I patched to avoid deaths in the future.\


**EDIT**

I spoke with Xeadin, and the ban was reduced to four days (to expire on the 20th) - your holes were from block 70 down to bedrock in the desert. They were difficult to see. They've also been patched in.
