Title: Extra Home Location
Post by: ryans1230 on March 26, 2012, 05:10:46 pm
With the amount of griefers today, we all need protection at our /home's. But it gets to be a hassle when you have to go through multiple doors to get to your farm for example. This is why I propose that a second /sethome is allowed. The commands would go as follows:

/sethome2
/home2
/home2 <player> Only you can use it

Let me know of your thoughts/opinions.

This sort of thing was not long talked about, still a good idea.

That was for a stone, in which it could be destroyed (in a sense). I'm talking about a command which takes you to a specific point, thus elminating the chance of your stone being destroyed (if it is in yur protection stone or not) and the need to come up with another block to use for it.

The other post had a small but vital hole in it, as to where did the warp stone take you? And it could lag the server (from the number of warps excuted at once).

My idea hardly change anything on the server apart from storing a second home and the extra commands.

This is a great idea, especially for those who have towns. that way they can have a city entrance, and there personal home set. I however, want the /home2 <player name> for this purpose

The /home2 <player name> would be like the current /home <player name> command. This is so that you don't have to have doors, or a protection stone to stop griefers.
