Title: Instability

Hi guys,

As you all will have noticed, the SMP server is experiencing some issues in terms of stability, going into hard deadlocks which require a manual restart.
Rest assured that this is my #1 priority right now, and will be looking into some solutions to deploy in the next few hours if possible to help mitigate the instability of Bukkit right now. I will keep you posted on it.

Awesome, good job.
Any idea what's causing the instability? Is the hardware underpowered, or is it an unstable bukkit release?

Post by: DJAlphaWolf on March 06, 2012, 05:03:20 am: Today we experienced several minor crashes of the SMP server, as well as the mumble server and even the opticraft.net site itself. Have patience, though, as I know Nick, Relkeb, and Optical are probably furiously working at fixing these bugs.

As opti said before, "bear with us" until we get this fixed.

I have adjusted the website to hopefully reduce the affects of these attacks, and updated the SMP server to potentially fix the exploit being used.

Sorry about all of this, they are simply growing pains.
