Alright, Zezenov here. Tabooti and I have just created the first in a series of radio broadcasts from our city of Stettin. The broadcast concerns only minecraft and the things that are going on around the server. Enjoy! and do leave a comment on the video please :D

I have to admit I went into this thinking it would be a bit silly, but I really liked it. It was well done. I will be "tuning in" more often. =p

We're not on the server 24/7 you know :P
Other than that, We will be working on another surprise aside from the radio broadcast (If successful of course).
We'll be producing a broadcast every week, with new material & we have to keep it interesting, lots of work you know ^^
Aside from running a city, and having to deal with all the problems that we get everyday!

Decided to check it out because of all the positive comments.
Definitely was better than I expected. Good job on it. Interested in seeing what else you guys are able to produce.
Any plans to perhaps add a video component to it?

We were about to record a video for this, But to actually do the video + sound would have taken double the length.
So we figured this would be something people would listen to while playing mine craft ^^
Although, back to the point, We'll try to add something to make it more interesting :)

Aw this reminds me of old radio broadcasts I used to listen to when I visited my grandpa. It really keeps your interest by using topics and stories from current things. (like minecraft, skyrim, etc...)
I am definitely gonna subscribe to these. :)

Glad to see you all liked the broadcast so much :D, and yes, we will be looking to have various guests on the show to interview or perhaps use as a correspondent in the future.

I'd actually like to see more quality creative content like this for the server.
We might start competitions for it, and try promote existing ones etc :)

Well Zezenov had a lot of college work to do, so that kind of set us back by many hours, It should be up in a few minutes though. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Edit: I'll see if I can convince Zezenov to re-launch SPR with some new material. So perhaps, someone may be interested in throwing an advertisement in (Of course, it will cost you!)
We'll be awaiting some input, and perhaps we'll be recruiting some proficient writers, and skillful voice actors! If you're interesting in reviving the program, clear your throats, ready your pens, and let us know what you think!

Not to rain on anyone's parade or anything, but I'm DJing for an actual radio station (The Dark Radio) and have been in the planning phase for a few weeks now to broadcast from inside the Opticraft world. That's right, real live Radio Station coverage for Opticraft! A lot of the other DJ's on the station do shows from City of Heroes, but Minecraft is where my love is.
It's going to start with 2 hours a week, probably between 10-Midnight EST on Tuesdays, and might expand from there depending on how popular it gets. Hopefully the broadcast will be up and running by the end of the month. I'm into final production on some of my voice spots and actual show planning will begin any day now. I'm also going to be starting on an in-game "radio station" in the next week or so where people will be able to come and hang out during the show, when I'm not "on location".
The radio station is mostly Rock, however the live shows (such as mine) basically do any request we get no matter what genre. As stated, I should be starting up shows by the end of the month and will not only be taking requests from those on the Opticraft server, but I will also be featuring builders and their designs.
Hope everyone will tune in!

Admittedly I was at work when I came across this topic and couldn't, but I have now. Good stuff... :) In my defense, the story title does say "Opticraft's ONLY radio show!" on the top of the page, which is what I'm into. Radio! ;D I don't only do music on my shows, although that is the majority of them. If I have the interest I do topic discussions and on-sites as well. There have been entire shows where there wasn't a hint of music, except some nice background audio. At any rate, hope to see an Episode 3 soon, and I hope you'll tune in once I start broadcasting live from Opticraft. :)
I don't do pre-recorded stuff myself, but I could see a short time slot in my show where I could toss in a pre-recorded SPR news clip for fun. If not, it's all good. I'll still tune in to any SPR updates. :)
