She is just a teenage girl people. That video was never meant to be a big sensation which it became. It was because of people hating it that it rose up to the public and made Rebecca earn that 1 million, pretty ironic, isn't it?. Then some people get jealous and start hating her to the extent that they start threatening her life. How sad can humans be?

Why would anyone hate someone who has no effect on his life at all, if it was not for jealousy? Of course it's not the only reason, but it is still a reason. Let's take Justin Bieber as an example. Why do you think some teenage boys hate Justin Bieber? I'd say one of the reasons is the simple fact, that many teenage males are jealous, because girls adore him so much. Along with the wealth and fame he has acquired in such an early age.
Another "reason" I've seen some people use to hate him, is the fact that he hit puberty quite late. Seriously, that is like hating someone for not growing wings and horns and going on an alien horn piercing rampage on the goddamn moon. You simply cannot control it. These are just people, not some monsters who took your house and wife away, why hate them as if they had done something like that?
Not claiming you or anyone in this thread is doing the things mentioned. These are just my observations I've made in real-life and on the internet. Hate hate hate.

Do you have any idea how strong you have to be to do something like that? Everyone is making fun of her and she doesnt care, she continues living her life. To be honest I wish i was as strong as that.

Once again, she wasn't desperate for attention. The video was never supposed to be an sensation what it became. Oh, and the only people being weak are those who are bullying and threatening the life of a teenage girl. By she payed, I meant her parents, she would not be old enough. But I am pretty sure she would have picked that present, as in it is her choice to do it, her parent's money.

Just fyi ABC is a shit station. It plays mainly little kids shows during mornings and afternoons then it plays random crap about rural Australia, which no one cares about if you live in an actual populated area, and then the news. It has nothing good on it and its mainly just an old TV station now. Main stations for us are probably WIN , PRIME , or TEN and their sub channels. ;)
