i still run windows XP and linux-corcerer, even if windows 8 comes out.
right now i can do much more with those two opperatiing systems than windws vista or even windows 7.

Well since i play games on my PC i will be upgrading. A new version of windows means a new version of direct X. The only downfall the XP is that you can use DX 10 or 11 which means the games wont looks as good.

Too bad your GPU doesn't support DX11 much less if windows 8 has DX12.
But thats only for gaming, I'm sure windows 8 will have other great features. We will Have to wait and see

i use windows xp on 4 computers, windows 7 on one and windows vista on 2. i honestly have to say that windows xp was the best for its performance.
the computers with xp are perfect with xp on them, but with an upgrade to windows 7 they lag.
wasnt windows 7 meant to be faster than all previous versions of windows? hrmm.... im not gonna believa anything microsoft says again :/

It's way faster for me.... Plus 64 bit windows XP was buggy as hell, even more buggy than Vista. Plus as i already said, with every new windows there is a new direct x meaning better looking games (sometimes)
