Title: Virus

I have a virus on my comp, so I cant get on mc... im gonna get a laptop soon though.

Ouch... I wont be back til July - December! Sorry! I will see you guys, and I hope the server has evolved much more by my return!

Yeah... No need to buy a new computer because of a virus. Send me the laptop/pc if you're going to do that ^_^

To my knowledge, a virus cannot infect the hardware?
As in 'infect' the hardware, do you mean that it disables some crucial device drivers?

Try installing Malware Anti-bytes, or if you have the money Eset nod32.

Well, the virus deleted my operating system. So I'm buying a laptop because the one I'm buying is cheaper than my operating system.

Heh, and you can always try out linux in the meantime, it's a free OS :D

From all of the distro's of linux, i recommend ubuntu as the best to use.
It's what I run my servers on, and has the most user friendly gui.

if you are in for gaming i advice linux-sorcerer
linux-ubuntu and linux-mint are mostly desktop OS so they can be used for prettymuch everything...

Everytime I get a virus I just do a system restore.... i dont have that much stuff on my laptop so idc lol
