Let me ask you guys something, and honesty will be everything here. Is Opticraft being set up for failure?.... If it is, I mean, what can we do to help? Yes, I understand voting, but there must be something else the Opticraft community can do? I would do anything for the server, and I know, others feel the same.
Thanks, ~Angelsrage21

The point? The POINT of this was just to make sure that this wonderful server we play on is doing ok.

"Doing ok"?

Exactly what I mean.

So I try to get a straight answer and you say shut up. Thanks for the explanation! :)

I am also curious as to what you mean by set up for failure?

Well, theres been talk about Opticraft going downhill with loss of players.
-
I actually like barely any players on. It lets me be relaxed on opticraft

What we need is newer things that make it so people come and stay, all people want is "New new new new new!!!" For example, capture the flag pvp, or survival games.
-
Indeed PvP has been a popular suggestion recently. Anything really competitive and many players preferring "hardcore" would come on and play, helping the population and perhaps improving the frequency of voting. Then more and more and MORE players! :D

'set up for failure' makes it sounds like someone was sabotaging the server haha

oh crab why you gotta be so crabby?!?!?!

Crab, to be honest, I think you just reply to topics to boost your post count. Please don't. Try not to be a jerk as well, this is a serious post about a player who wants to contribute as much as they can to the server.
Thanks, Holy

I've been seeing 50+ players on the past few days. Maybe because of the PvP announcement?

Maybe, its hard to tell. It also may be the recent "enforcement" we've been urging on everyone to vote properly. Since the PvP announcement is new. The climbing in online players started sometime last week i believe.
-
But it has been mainly members and trusteds... Not that many new players.
-
Everyday we gain about 10-15 new members. I'm assuming the recent increase of players on the server include them.
-
Why is there always a post about the server loosing players? People come and go, its a fact. but the server, as holy said, gains about 10-15 people a day. probably half of them decide to stay and the others leave. the only thing to worry about is new attractions, which there are already a lot of posts about, and the upper staff are the only ones that can change that.

• You could donate to the server, help pay the bills and be rewarded.
• Vote (honestly, no cheating), be rewarded as well.
• You can be the person in a community that makes other players want to stay in the community.
• Contribute to the server with more than social challenges, build things, host games, etc..
You can do a lot of things to help keep players, everything you do affects someone somehow.
As Loaf said, Players come and go, it's typical, it's up to the person if they want to stay. However, do expect more players with the upcoming PvP.
