Title: Java Problems in 1.6.1

well Minecraft worked perfect for me before, but after I updated to 1.6.1 and played using the new launcher, Minecraft keeps on crashing after a few mins on singleplayer, and crashed immediately when I joined the server. It says that "Java Platform SE Binary has stopped working.", and it is really irritating me as I want to get back to this server after a while of not doing so.

I'm making this post just to inquire whether it's just me or do some of us encounter this problem too.

Try updating to the latest Java version, if not try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

by this i mean your computer or your mc client

oh, i solved it already.
uninstalled java and downloaded the 64 bit version and it worked like a charm
thanks for the suggestions
