Title: Trading Price List! [For Clarification]
Post by: Birds4thewin on April 29, 2013, 10:40:13 pm
Average Prices

Well someone needed to do this.
Suggest prices for things that I haven't named here, or point out any changes.
Market Price: You buy it at /warp market for $x, and sell it at /warp market for $y.
Trader Price is the normal price players will sell this item for.

Colors Codes!
"Red Item Name" means that that item cannot be sold at /warp market
"Yellow Item Name" means that that item cannot be bought at /warp market
"Green Item Name" means that that item is not at /warp market, and must be sold on the free trade market.

I like the idea, I looked for one of these but couldnt find one. I'd say the trader price can be a bit opinionated, but most trader prices are a bit above market sell price.

It's a joke. Ask _gavin or holy_moses for more details on this wonderful, luxury product.

Might I suggest using a table for the list with nice descriptive column labels for ease of viewing. Otherwise I foresee this becoming a cluttered giant wall of text

Well if I COULD do that on the forums, I would. But for now, it will have to stay like this :/

We used to have a topic like this called Street Price Guidelines (http://www.opticraft.net/index.php/topic,6791.0.html). I was working on reviving it with Mr several months ago but many of the new items at the time didnt have clear pricing (carrots, potatoes, etc). Now of course they have prices. but ya..

Feel free to follow Mr's format here. Or try to experiment with formats of your own. I'd love to see an active trading guideline thread for once.

If for any reason this thread doesn't last long, I will try to revive that old topic again with Mr. For now, I place my hope in this topic to serve as our price guidelines.

Item                          Market Buy Price               Market Sell Price               Trade Price
Column 1Column 2Column 3Column 4
Column 1Column 2Column 3Column 4

Code: [Select]

Item                          Market Buy Price               Market Sell Price               Trade Price

Column 1Column 2Column 3Column 4

Column 1Column 2Column 3Column 4

to keep adding rows just copy/paste this right above the "
" tag and replace the column # with you're info:

Code: [Select]
Column 1Column 2Column 3Column 4
it'll keep things a lot more organized and easier to read

Updated to a table. Thanks to Tiggy26668 and PokeyzRule!

...But can someone fix the last table ("Miscellaneous")? No idea why it's broken.

in ur size tag you need "pt" after the number ie:
Code: [Select]

you did

side note: apparently pixels "px" works to so im gonna assume other computer formats would as well

Hammy, your services are far to expensive to mention.

As far as planned, once the extensive wool farm I am building is finished, I will have a chest shop for every color of wool made and set to sell wool at the price of $50 per 16 wool or $200 per stack of wool (Im talking about my chest shop mall of course). Possibly a good starting point for deciding the trade price of wool.
