Hi, I can't figure out how to use IRC. Also, can it be used on IPads or any device like that? Thanks, SJ

Read that. Irc does work on apple or android devices, there are tons of irc apps.

I would recommend using rizon's webchat. You'd need internet for IRC(internet relay chat).
It already has the information plugged in, just make an account and talk :D
But just bookmark the page.
