Title: ps turning into just coal?

so yesterday i was griefed and i had placed a coal protection stone. i walked up to it to mine it out and re place it but it just turned to coal. any reason for this? or any way to avoid it?

You probably held shift while placing it. Contact an operator ingame.

ooo it was only coal. its too late now thanks for the advice though. wont hold shift next time.

Yeah I also have ahd this happen lots of times. I have learned this lesson the hard way.  :'(

this happened to me today, but it was a coal PS, not many worries for me :P guess i know why now

lol yeah, did it with a diamond ps, and I didnt see the boundries made of glass appear, and was like "uh oh" but I got an op who saw the former ps stone, and he gave me a new one and destroyed the bad one.
