Hey All!
So, after the huge success and positive feedback from just about everybody that went, we want to make this a yearly thing.
Maybe not even yearly, like every 6 months.
(The following is quite long, go to the green below to skip it)
Since we are planning on making this a big thing, I want to get a team of people that would be staff. The jobs would include;
Searching for our next amazing venue, maybe helping to decorate and other things but mainly sharing opinions and being consultants for things like the theme of the next one and etc. This would be a great job but it isn't paid or anything.
The main pro of being prom staff is getting a sneak peek of it all before everyone else. If you are interested, put an app in below and I will read it and approve/disapprove.
Other things;
I'm thinking that when the next Prom comes along, we give people a month or longer to make a venue, and the Prom staff look at each one and pick a venue to host the next Prom. The prize would be something like 10k and of course the pride of having your building amaze all the Prom guests.

The BIG Plan!:
We, here at Prom! networks have been working hard to bring you...
Halloween Prom! This is very early days, so the best date we can give you is in October somewhere.
For those of you that want to build a venue and win 10k, here are the requirements;
Must have a big dance floor
To get to the dance, guests have to complete a walk through a haunted house (Optional Parkour in the house)
Must contain pumpkins/Jack 'o' lanterns
Must have a /home so guests can actually come
Ideas;
Make Pumpkins pop out of the walls using pistons
Parkour in the haunted house entrance
Please, please, please make a venue for the next Prom! because; It is a chance to win money, you will get a special mention and nearly the whole of Opticraft will likely come. Also, you will get special privileges, such as presenting Prom! King and Queen

Why would you like to be Prom Staff?: I helped a tad bit last year and would like help a lot more. I enjoy working with others and know many players on the server! I hope to join the team!

Why would you like to be Prom Staff?: At the last prom i helped out a little bit and it was a very nice experience! Also i want the next prom to be maybe even better (impossibru? :P), and i want to help make it a success :D

Why would you like to be Prom Staff?: Not sure if it's staff per-say, as to volunteer myself as DJ for the events. I do on-air DJing for a legally registered internet radio station, which means I have access to a massive music library and the ability to do live streaming to thousands of users. I've recently gotten permission to use the "test stream" for events that take place when other radio shows are scheduled, so I would only need a few weeks notice (to schedule my life) prior to the event. All players would need in order to tune in is Windows Media Player, or almost any other player capable of opening a URL, and a link to the test stream which I would provide on signs at the event.

Why would you like to be Prom Staff?: Because i noticed that during both of the prom sessions, that people went off and griefed the prom venue, so i believe that as a member of staff i would be able to pretty much extinguish grief at the prom event, Thanks Very Much

With the member world coming out soon, you might be able to find more room on your next venue, as long as room does remain.
A suggestion would be to make some sort of indoor space that can be easily modifiable for different venues and/ or for different themes for a certain venue, such as the Opticraft Prom.

Another suggestion is getting PS Stones for the venue. To prevent griefing and such.

The 9pm AEST prom was awful, sorry but it was. Need proper planning for it, not just throwing different timezones in at the last minute. =\ I swear no one was in charge. Nor did anyone know it was on.

Why would you like to be Prom Staff?: I would like to be in the Prom Staff because I have nothing to do on SMP and I have a lot of free time. Plus i think this will be a great opportunity to meet new players.

This was advertised very well and a lot of people knew about it; however, due to my timezone, I was unable to participate in this! :c I'm really curious, are there any screen shots of the prom while it was unfolding? I'd like to see them.
And sorry if this is off topic, I don't know if it is because this looks more like a place to post applications.

[Look to mod app for info.] Nah, jkjk. I'm a joker type of guy, but I also know when to be responsible. I, in my opinion, am really popular in the Opticraft community (And maybe not so to some others.) I can follow directions given from the prom arranger, and I want to have fun.
My only problem? I hate speeches...

Do you think you are well known/respected by the community?: Yes i am well known for my city (shifting sands) and i spend a lot of time on mumble
Why would you like to be Prom Staff?: I am an experienced builder and also i have got a talent for making skins (i made scotty602ab s, mokergingers, chipatons, and loads of other peoples skins) and would gladly make formal outfits for the people in the staff. I am very friendly with all the staff selected and i have been to the past proms which i thought were ACE! ;D

Why would you like to be Prom Staff?: I helped in the last Prom. and it was awesome! Building, helping, hosting, and other stuff. The Halloween theme will be very cool with scary monsters and everywhere Pumpkins! I would love to help with the Prom. again!
