Title: Petition
Post by: deathring117 on May 31, 2012, 04:16:27 pm
When I was playing Opticraft today, I noticed the /helpop command. It does a thing with tickets etc. But, I was on another server that I do not play anymore, uses this plugin called, Petition. It makes it to where you can edit your ticket, and shows how many tickets you have in, and how many tickets so far on the server. It also adds a feature to where the mod+ can TP to the spot of the Petition, for easier TPing.
Hope you liked!

What understood form that, is that you want the server to rename it to "petition" because its gonna have "edit" abilities.
Moreover, you will be able to see how many you have sent so far. Am I right?

The system was implemented about 1-2 weeks ago, as it is.
I see no reason to know the number I have sent the first request. If you send more than 1, then I think it is spam.
Further, why would you like to edit the ticket? It has already sent to the MODs+.
Finally, the MODs, teleport to the place you are. Or, if you call a MOD, stay really close as its your duty.

I see no further suggestions except the "edit".

We are able to do all these things already (minus the showing how many tickets you have put in and the 'editing' of tickets)

BT5, he is telling that we should be able to edit our tickets because he is considering the possiblity of writing the ticket wrong or maybe the ticket being insufficient etc. I think we should have the right to change our ticket before a mod sees it. I agree with him.

But like Spamarian said, a ticket is already sent. If it has a small typo, thats fine, we will still tp to the player and clarify it then.

What I am saying, is that there is no need to have the "edit". That's my opinion.
If you send wrong a ticket, then when the MOD come, will learn the actual reason.

I'm in agreement, I see no point to an edit command.  Most players just yell "Mod", "Water", "Grief" and don't give us any other details in the tickets anyway.  We always have to ask them about it when we arrive on the scene.  Just a feature I don't ever see being used.
