Hey guys, As you see in the poll above, do you want to have an Opticraft Song that we could make either from scratch or we can make a parody of a song! Show off your ideas in the replies and vote your opinion in the poll! :D

Anyone can sing. Anyone that wants to sing will do a specific part of it. If we have to, multiple recordings would be made to insure a good selection.

We are surprisingly a pretty musical bunch.
Ramkitty and I used to sing duets. Though my voice alone probably sucks.
I recommend ram for singing. And we have a lot of instrument players on the server.
Saxophonists, pianists, guitarists, etc.

Yes we will have a video, but im going to make the music and video seperately, then have it all mushed together in one recording.

I can help with da video as I has fraps, after effects and Sony Vegas pro. But would the video be shot in minecraft or a third party animation program?

i've written songs for my english class with my friends before. In the beginning of the year, they were assignments where we had to write a song about the book we recently read to the tune of whatever song we felt fitting.
My group composed a song to the tune of "Forget You" by Cee Lo Green. My role in my group was mainly adding in several lyrics. The main songwriter was a musical dude so I let him do most of it. Though i contributed my part obviously.
Anyways, I can help out with the songwriting process as a kind of assistant to the main writer. It would help though if I knew what the tune of the song was. And I'd obviously need to have a song topic. :P

I've started writing a parody of "Dynamite" but it's probably not gonna make the cut. :P
I would like to make this song fresh from scratch. Since we are doing it from scratch, i would like to start off by finding a good rythem to it. (However you spell it).
