Suggestions / Re: New World In SMP for [Trusted]

Just curious when the new world is built, is it gonna have any extra features/ terrain changes that the current world we're using doesn't have?  I heard that the update to 1.2 prevented some things without wiping the world clean (maybe they've been rectified by now)

I'm not sure, but I think you are only allowed a certain amount of pistons on a circuit, however if I'm wrong I would like to help  :D

Repeaters are a lifesaver :)

Oh and just curious which melon formation r u going to use? Could you post a plan of the basic design on the farm?  What I typically use is this: (I'll post an ingame shot if you'd like)

D= Dirt
S=Watermelon Sapling/Sprout
W=Water (can be covered with any kind of block)
X=Sugar Cane/Wheat

   1  2 3 4  5 6 7 8 9

1  D S D D S D D S D
2  D S D D S D D S D
3  D S D D S D D S D
4  D S D D S D D S D
5  D S D X W X D S D
6  D S D D S D D S D
7  D S D D S D D S D
8  D S D D S D D S D
9  D S D D S D D S D

The Dirt will obvious be where the melons will grow so while there's more dirt than saplings (namely the sides) melons tend to grow faster on this setup so it'd ideal for frequent harvesting (which I do ALOT :))  It can be converted into a full fledged auto farm but at the cost of I think 8 blocks of height?  I've gotten a slightly different circuit design with around the same amount of efficiency for 4 blocks of height.

When i saw the C:/ I immediately started loling :D But yeah put it on an image hosting site on the web like DJ said and copy and paste either the url to the photo directly or an embedded [img] into your initial post so we can see it directly on this post without having to click a link. Btw I use photobucket.com :)

Oh and if you need any help with getting the pics to show feel free to ask or pm me

And the evolution to classic begins :)  Personally I would love if each rank could get their own world or at least rank+ exculsive worlds like what was stated by Nick.  Hope to see this happen whenever Optic is ready!

I've got some video from the top of the market (I used an enderpearl to get up there) if you want me to post it I can.  I gotta say the quality is a bit choppy and grainy in some spots along with an annoying chat box in the way -_- but for the most part I caught a good amount of it.

Edited: K here's the vid, again srry for the grainy quality (I'm real nitpicky about my vids :P)  I think I started recording slightly after Wratkie started but watch the whole thing and you'll see some good shots. :)

1. alicia nailed it
2.Moderators don't grow on trees, Moderators who are not mature enough or moderators that are just plain stupid would have a huge negative effect on this server. That is why we are so picky when choosing mods.
3. If you want us to give reasons we will add one line to every app that says "we do not currently think you would make a good mod" It is as simple as that.
4.The server should automatically restart when it "crashes".
3. That's hardly a reason -.-
Well if you get rejected, that is the reason why. Just saying.

I understand why admins have to give such a general reason for rejection (possibly time constrains and anonymity) but that's like a doctor telling a family their relative died because their heart stopped.  They (more often than not) want to know what caused it.  I think smd75jr (and many others) want a more personal and direct reason for getting denied such a needed position.  In builder apps more often then not if they are rejected (or accepted), the op tells the builder what projects they had were good, what wasn't quite up to snuff and why it didn't meet their standards.  Sorry if this post sounds a bit redundant to what the original poster said but I felt the need to offer my opinion.

How would griefing increase?

People would be tempted to find these chests so they'd destroy any walls and obstacles in their way, even if that meant if it were someone else's walls.  Don't get me wrong I think this is a great idea, I just feel that some people might get carried away if there are high stake prizes.  Maybe I'm over analyzing this though....

Sound cool but I get the feeling if too many ppl found out about stuff like this griefing would increase ten fold.

Lightning speed (Always managed to place water b4 I can even tell the person who's being help I'm available)
A passion to help (So far I've seen you help many people and your app reflects you desires)
Availability (You've been on quite often from what I can see and we need mods who are there for this server's high demands)
Experience (While you say you have no prior experience, you're obviously willing and ready to learn the ropes)
^
These are the things I think a mod needs

Supported  ;D

Seeing all these griefed places *cough easttown cough* I really would spend about 1-2 hours fixing all this up to make the server nice and clean and grief-free!

I agree that Easttown is a mess! D: When I harvest sand I try to harvest in a clean pattern so it doesn't look like a bunch of creepers had a rave party behind me.

However, I don't think its right to undo people's actions on the terrain of easttown because technically it isn't grief, just ppl being messy gathering public resources. Sure there are player houses that need to be antigriefed which is fine but I think the admins have plans for renewing those sand blocks in the terrain so the place doesn't look so much like swiss cheese without mass antigriefing aka undoing ppl's actions and potentially destroying work of innocent people.

But I love your passion for a clean server so supported :)
