Reason for application: I believe by far there is an extreme lack of operators in my time zone. Every time I check in via IRC there is never an operator on. I despise griefers and the constant need to tell someone, "sorry, you will need to wait for an operator to come online." When they need various forms of assistance. I want to bring an end to this blind spot in the server's moderation.

Why you should become an operator: I am willing to commit as much time as possible towards moderating Opticraft when no other Operators are available. I have high standards and would be more strict than other operators on promoting guests. I would take great joy in helping improve the Opticraft server.

Extra Information: I also have skills in various programming languages and I am learning C++.

I have suggested this before, but mass project worlds.

You simply place an object in the middle of the world and everyone can build off of it, until you have an entire themed world.
E.g. you place an airplane, next person might put it on a runway, next person connects the runway to a hangar, etc. until an airport is made.

This keeps going until the world is filled, and then a new one can be started, and the old one showcased.

The idea is to have a world that interconnects and is not a series of projects all separate like other worlds (e.g. medieval has a theme, but is all separated). This allows people to make their own creations, while creating a large project. Anyone (builder+) can contribute if they want.

I can probably make a bot that can do rolling, chance cards and community chest, and keep track of money. But I need to know how to connect it to the chat in opticraft. I could probably do it through IRC easily.

It would probably be something like:
!roll
!chance
!community
!pay <user> <amount>
!passgo

We would need to keep track of who lands where ourselves, and how much they owe, but the bot will take care of cash.

I might be able to do !mortgage <property> and !purchase <property> as well.
It would only listen to players in the game.

Not sure I have the time to do it though... maybe once the board is complete I will look into it.
