Offtopic / Re: How About Some Drawings
« on: December 09, 2012, 05:26:27 pm »

pulled this out of my closet (literally) - art class we were once asked to draw whatever was handed to us in a picture frame, but to also add our own unique designs to our drawing.

Don't remember who this is and as you can tell the unique piece of my drawing was makin his forehead bleed.
im out of practice and this is the only one i've ever finished.

My cat had a litter of kittens and after a few weeks I managed to give all but 1 kitten away, then she got pregnant again so a 2nd litter - i had more trouble this time and ended up keeping another 2 kittens out of the litter, after 2 months the 2nd litter cat got pregnant and i found her and a home with her twin brother.

My brother met this girl who was headed to phoenix (hundred miles away) and she would bring the cats with her. So I put the 2 in a box and off they went.

4 days later, i hear a cat meowing and think its my loud mouth brat of a cat so i went and opened the door. Here comes the pregnant twin running through the front door and all i can think is "wtf?"

the next day i returned her to her new owner. sad see depart twice, but oh well.

General Discussion / Re: First word as Trusted
« on: November 25, 2012, 06:39:28 am »
took almost 2 days to realize i was trusted.

apparently i was ignoring everyone on day 2 and in lala land for a good 30 minutes building after logging on, before.. i think it was MissTheSofie popping up in front of me asking in local chat, why I was being an ass and ignoring everyone congratulating me in global chat.

I really had no idea I got Trusted and didn't even know much about the rank until it was explained to me.

I've had a similar situation - instead of confronting them directly. I pry for answers to every question.

"Are you inviting me to dinner? Are there others going? If so then who? What place did you have in mind?"

I never flat out say a yes or no answer until I get all the information.

If I'm told nothing and no one else is involved - then I later learn the exact opposite has happened. I confront him/her on the lie(s) to find out just why I was stabbed in the back by my so-called friend.

If the explanation is stupid/horrible. I'll let the liar understand just what they did to my trust in em and if it happens again a short time later. I just end the friendship, I simply don't want or need backstabbers as friends, because trust is the most important part of any friendship in my opinion.

- It's possible to become friends again in due time... but some habits are just never easy to break.

You're right, the rest of the world doesn't see what's so bad about the 9th of November, (9/11) - Because this horrifying tragedy occurred on the 11th of September, (9/11)

not true i saw it, i even saw footage of inside the building. we do see whats wrong with it. but we don't mourn the dead. we just get television specials over conspiracy theories we don't give a rats ass about o.o
of course we know that it was horrifying, a kid in my class knew someone who died there(on a holiday).
but its not connected to most of us(as non-americans)

I believe you misunderstood my post - I quoted Tyler's post and corrected him.
Btw. The rest of the world doesn't see what's so bad about the 9th of November, (9/11)

Tyler does not have his facts straight.

The horrific event of 9/11 occurred on September 11th, not November 9th.

Suggestions / Re: /home banning?
« on: September 13, 2012, 11:30:37 am »
Answer me this then. Why do staff need to ALWAYS have access to our /homes. Why cant we just add them when we need them or add then if they say so. I honestly dont see a problem with that.
A.k.a.
Simple, if we needs mods we add them, if we dont need them they stay locked out.

I know you have decent intentions, but what you are suggesting can be exploited big time and just create a big headache.

Scenario: Suppose a buddy invites you to their place for any number of reasons. All of the sudden, you fall in a death trap and your so-called friend takes your stuff.

It could have been prevented if the staff had access the house and yet, they still can't go there because you decided that letting staff bypass /banhome "everybody" was a good idea.

Opticraft staff members are actually trustworthy and responsible lot (when you don't make them mad all the time...) They do not go breaking or stealing all your stuff and honestly - There are many players who want no one (especially staff) to go into their homes - only to locate the players illegal activity that can result in temp/perma bans.

- Back on making suggestions.

If a /homeban was implemented into the game, I would recommend players have the option to give a short sentence as to why a player is banned from the home - also allow staff to view the players /homeban list. (In game and/or on the forums.)
