Figured I'd post here to clear a couple things up.
Firstly, and this should be obvious to all who've been around for awhile. I've lost interest in minecraft and have become quite busy with other things in life (honours, finishing college, fulltime job, looking for place to stay / house to buy, other hobbies). As a result, I can no longer spend time developing things for the server, so stuff has stalled hard.
Secondly, the lack of extra content is not because I "don't like" other peoples plugins. It simply the time issue. The fact we have less plugins and have a large plugin of our own has more to do with quality control / bugs, then it does to do with time or my perceived dislike of other peoples work. I welcome additional plugins not written by myself being added.
Third - I have, as of today, unrelated to this topic, given Tobs & Nick console access, which in time would at the very least empower them to make changes to improve things, however as Nick said, this is not necessarily why they became admins, so don't expect it of them. However, at the very least, they have the opportunity to do so.

I haven't spoken to Nick or Tobs about this at all - but I have had several people PM me about it so I thought I'd address it from my standpoint. Please note that I do not make the rules now - so what I say is just my view, not the rule. At the end of the day Nick and Tobs have the final call, not me.
Personally I don't have an issue with shaders being used since its purely cosmetic - as far as I am aware. If there are shaders that do modify gameplay in order to provide an advantage however, I support banning them altogether. Provided there are none that provide an advatange, I would be fine with them being allowed.
That said - I do not make the rules, and if they're currently disallowed, they will remain so until Nick and Tobs decide to alter the rules. If you use a shader and get in trouble for doing so - this post will not be an excuse to be unbanned.

Figured I'd post some pictures of my tank. Cora's pictures and details about her tanks made me decide to get back into the hobby few months ago. Have two tanks thus far, 1x ~70L (~20 gallon) planted tank, and 1x ~23L (5Gal) Fry tank for breeding. My 70L tank is obviously the main one. Is fairly well planted and is currently stocked with neon tetra's, mollies, a dwarf gourami, peppered cories and a young bristlenose plecostomus. The 20L tank is just being used to raise the molly fry for now. Currently has 3 fry from the first batch. Unfortunately didn't move the female over early enough and so only saved 3 from the main tank - all are doing well now (2 weeks old). Hi guys,
As you are all aware SMP is currently offline. Don't worry - it's coming back soon (hopefully in the next few hours). No data has been lost - it is just a larger then normal DDOS attack. Currently working with that datacentre to resolve this and solve it for future attacks. I'll update the status once it changes.

Update: Server is back online. Just waiting for DNS to propagate. Can connect directly with the IP temporarily: 192.169.93.34 - but do not use this in long term!

I'd say this is a client / connection to the server issue. Remove any addons you have and try (not that you should have any running, right  )
