I'd have to say I liked the 1st book the most. Hunger Games, Mockingjay and then Catching Fire. Yes, I do agree its a great series.

I read this book a few months ago that's quite interesting, a lot like Hunger Games in the sense of division by districts in a distant future.

It's called Divergent by Veronica Roth, its a pretty good book set in a future where Chicago has been abandoned long ago. There are 5 factions: the Candor (the honest), the Abnegation (the selfless), the Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). At 16, each teen must choose the faction they will devote the rest of their lives to (the one they were raised in with their families or to the other four).

Here's a picture of the book:   (https://www.opticraft.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.harpercollinschildrens.com%2FharperchildrensImages%2Fisbn%2Fmedium_large%2F2%2F9780062024022.jpg&hash=41f37488917617d770db3fbb1b67c6c9)

Definitely worth reading. The series has only just begun, with book 1, and more are to come.

Why do ppl freak out about this book. I read it and I must say it wasnt nearly as good as other books. Books like Running Man or The Outsiders are so much more interesting...

Indeed, althought the Egyptian series is bad. Also, Percy Jackson Series 2.
And the 1st and 3rd Inheritance books (The second one was meh, the last one a letdown).

Eh the old kingdom trilogy is good well I like it

And this one (I think its the same book, I don't remember the title, but it had an old kingdom :S ) Is it a book about this girl with bells who ran around doing stuff.

Other than that, I normally read less teen fiction books. Ian Banks' Sci-Fi books are AMAZING. Just sayin'.

Title: Re: Hunger Games

Everyone has different definitions of small. Personally, being a heavy reader, it's small in the sense that its manageable to read within a few hours for me. A few days ago I finished a book about 500 pages within 11 hours of reading (non-stop :P).

It all depends how into it you are, how fast you read, how big the font is, and more.

It takes me a few hours to read a solid 300-500 page book. Usually anywhere from 4-10 hours.

It all depends on someone's reading speed. :P
