What features, settings idea's do you want to see back at opticraft ?
Things you are missing on our server, things that might help us on the way to become number 1.

in all seriousness, i dearly feel the we desire and require a Whispering system. I find it excruciatingly annoying when i need to say something to one person, and then the whole server hears what is projected across the chat box. However, there would be immense disadvantages of this. Some of them are
-Bullying. The only person reading the message is the one who sent it and the one the message is intended for. meaning they could insult people and not be proved wrong, seeing that no one but the recipient had seen the message.
saying that, if such a device is implemented, it should only be available to people with a rank, meaning recruits or higher, as to not being able to be abused.

Firstly, no need to speak in such formal and somewhat obfuscated English. Being clear and concise is much more intelligent then drawing out your sentences and stating the obvious.
Secondly, this has been added. Use @name to send a PM to them. I'll add a message to the periodic announcements in game soon to let people know about it more publicly.
Finally, welcome to the forum! Was wondering when you (and amber?) were going to sign up.

i don't know why i make such big posts. i just like to explain ever detail in my posts.
anyway, Amber probably won't be signing up...and i hadn't known about the whisper system.

I would love you have access to some other materials such as Water or lava, Also there is rumor that you can make TNT usible.

Water + Lava is available to recruits. TNT Can be programmed, but we have no use for it, so i won't be adding it.

I really don't know if it's just me, but I really don't like that chat system.
I would love to be able to hide them join and leave notices, And if the chat is Irc based, maybe some bot that can mute/ban or just take away the rights of a griefer(the griefers/abuser name can be PM'ed by Op's and trustees) to the bot with some command, so the griefer can't build/destroy anything anymore, used to be a lot on IRC chats and was bored so i learned a thing about MSL but I wonder if its also possible with python

^^ the above post just gave me an idea!
a sort of block-out chat that lets you ignore all messages by a certain rank, excluding Private Messages.
see, my logic there is that it gets agonising watching you talk to someone and their message popping up for a quarter of a second, because the chat box gets flooded.

Fire would be nice, also maybe some physics with the water can place a single water block and flood an area?

I dont know if i will ever implement physics. We'll have to see.

I think physics would be cool. It would be much easier to make a moat on my castles anyway. ;D

I'd love to see an Opticraft Alpha(actually beta now) Server someday. I know it takes a lot more resources and power to run one, but it'd be awesome to have one sometime.
As for the classic servers, it'd be nice if someone asks you to see their stuff, etc, and they're not in the world you're on, you could just type /tp <name> and instead of saying 'hurr not in your world hurr' it would make you join the world they're on or at least tell you what world they're on without having to type /whois.
Other than that, and the usual griefing problems, I'd say everything is great.

I would like to see shalor_Mayko as a builder :D but on a serious note, fire would be very server straining on such a scale. HOWEVER! SPLEEF-BOT! A massive world spleef arena with it's own two spleef bots to repair the board after matches. I would even personaly assist on the construction of the areana.

I personally think that fire would be a very cool idea! Although,I dont wanna be you know, pushy, or anything. So, how hard/long would it be and take to add fire to the game? :P

Cant add fire as its not in the client. Only thing that could be added is lava burning wood and what not, which i wont be adding :P

I want to attempt a spleef bot. ;D
But even though I have been programming for 5 years I am yet to make a bot. :P
Shouldn't be hard assuming I can figure out how to send and receive information from minecraft.

Actualy the fire was simply because we have no light sorces. THAT WOULD BE THE BEST! a light source. any light source.

Well yes, but you need to be able to recognise when a game is finished as well, who won etc. That also assumes your using another bot program. I am thinking of making my own.

give Builders the ability to Kick.
it can help them keep griefers out but doesnt give them the authority to actually ban them.

I really think very expirienced players and somebody that optical and hanno respect and trust them should get an admin I am not suggesting anybody but that is for you to choose and us to pray :D

perhaps name prefixes and a name color system like i've seen on other servers :D
