Title: Payment history
Post by: Chipaton on August 05, 2012, 01:24:48 am
I would like to suggest the idea of having a history on received/payed money on the server. It could work like this. You type /balhist and it would show all money payed to others and spent in the market from the past 2 weeks. This would be helpful for keeping track of your money, also help stop scammers. It should be easy to implement, but I dont know much about coding so sorry if I'm wrong.

Scammers are not a issue. Be smart when you trade. If people make money because you messed up and trusted them then they get the money. That is the real world. Plus there does not exist a way (currently) for a mod to right any scammed player besides forcing the scammer to fess up and return what was scammed. Most of the time it doesn't work out.

Still, even without the threat of scammers, it is still helpful.

I don't see why you'd really need to keep track of things like this.
Can't you just write it down or something?

Or just keep a book and quill with you, keep down the history of your items, say, you had a silk touch I, efficiency III, You write it down in the book. Once someone buys it, go to that item, write down the amount of money they payed you, and then just, let's say they payed a portion, just write down the amount they payed, and write down, owes 500 dollars more, and he payed 4000.

In the face of a scammer, anyone could write down anything.

5.   Be careful who you trade with, not everyone is trustworthy.
