How can I update my game to 1.6.2 or whatever it is now?

    You need to download the new launcher (https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/launcher/Minecraft.exe) first

    After downloading the new launcher at mojang.com(you will find the link in the old launcher) you do what CpuGameLPer said-

        New launcher? doesnt it ask when logging in?
        Wait a sec I'm confused! How do I login o.o?
        And what's that green bar down there o.o?

        - They made a new (work in progress) launcher which you need to play any 1.6+ updates. Click here (https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/launcher/Minecraft.exe).
        - It used to do that on the old launcher, on the one it will automatically update unless you select it not to (you can downgrade whenever).
        - Don't be confused.
        - Once you get the new lancher follow this topic.
        - What green bar?... the experience bar?

        Hope that answered all the important things (even if they were already said in this topic...)

        Ohai Tobs nvm it was probably the loading bar, got it to work, it was a little bit confusing in the beginning but i understood how it works

        There's been a lot of topics.  They can just use the Internet for help.  It's not hard to understand anyway but people never look around for helpful topics or use a search provider
