Just thought I'd ask, after looking through the ban appeals, what is the acceptable amount of say, advertising something for sale? Would allowing your text to scroll out of view then posting it again be ok? because thats what I've been trying to aim for/ :P

Since the chat mechanics have been improved, so has the ability to repeat/ recall/ spam what someone had said a second ago or more. If the method you are going for works without annoying too many people, I'd say that would be fine, but generally we'd safely say at least 3 times every 30 seconds- 1 minute-- that way you're not taking up too much of the chat space.
Considering how many people get on our server, it's difficult to manage everyone at once unless some guidelines were put into place, which we should probably do since this has been becoming an apparent issue as of late.
