Mob Rain is used to make random hostile mobs fall from the sky at set areas and times.

If optical's suggestion doesn't work, check your proxy settings. If you've never changed them they should look like the following:
IE: Tools > Internet Options > Connections Tab > LAN Settings button
Make sure the Automatically detect settings box is checked, and noting else.
Chrome (runs off the same settings as IE): Settings > Show advanced Settings (At bottom of page) > Change proxy settings...
Make sure the Automatically detect settings box is checked, and noting else.
Firefox: Tools > Options > Advanced > Network tab > Settings button under Connection
Have Auto-detect proxy settings selected.
Let me know if it helps, or if you use a MAC.. Cause that'll be different..
EDIT: There are a handful of programs that'll change you proxy settings, if you don't know of any you have willingly downloaded I would suggest running a virus scan, malware detector and what not.

LOL MSHOUR WON TWICE IN THE SAME LOTTERY?
i pointed that bug out to opti as soon as i looked at the code. i didn't expect it to happen any time soon - but it has been fixed.
Just to clarify since that message is misleading.
It is correct and possible to win all three prizes in the lotto.
I understand that in real life you can have multiple winning tickets but doesnt this just cater to the rich players who can buy thousands of tickets?
Random is random. Yes buying more tickets increases your chances at winning but that's how a lottery works. I can understand preventing the same person from winning more than once a drawing, but it's not like you need to play the lottery to get anywhere on the server. All in all, I'm completely fine with the lottery the way it is if people have fun with it the system then it's working. ^^ Just me 2 cents, so I don't expect anyone to agree.

Well, is there a better way to remove the problem without removing the selling of pumpkins/melons? I am on both sides: on removing because it is unfair in a way  ; in keeping for my own purposes  and really, what am I going to do with stacks of melons/pumpkins? Make an awesome melon house with pumpkin doorways and roof?
