Wondering if we are gonna do prom this year?
I have decided to organize this year's prom of 2013 sense no one has volunteered to organize it yet.
This will actually be a Summer dance. This is NO LONGER Prom!

I will make donation chests at my home A.S.A.P. For now, any donations can be made out to 2crzy4uall or andersad.

* Most types of food

* Quartz
* Dragon egg
* Redstone/Redstone blocks
* Will be getting more stuff needed soon!

Costume/skin contest: We will have a best costume/skin contest going. To vote you will message Zelda (ONLY during prom, not before). You may not vote for yourself either. Prizes:
1st place prize: 5 diamond blocks
2nd place prize: 3 Gold Blocks
3rd place prize: 3 Iron blocks
Jobs wanted!: DJ ingame(3600llie), DJ on Mumble(Supah_Monkee), food/refreshments supervisor.
NOTE: Trolls and party crashers will NOT be tolerated at the prom. If you choose to do so, you shall know that you are in an Operator's home.
Still need helpers and donations. If you think you have a good place to host it Please contact me (Via Mailing me, PMing me, or posting on here). Thanks guys!

Also last time we did this we had a DJ actually dj on mumble, so yeah should look for someone to do that.

As for suggestions of themes, 2crzy4uall will help me decide sense he will be the one that has to set most of it up.

I think I could be the DJ in-game. I have 6 of the best vanilla disks that I could use. Its a Saturday at 11 AM for me, I live in NY which is in Eastern Standard Time. I do have an event to go to that day but its scheduled for 4:30 PM so I will probably be able to make it. Thanks

I think I could be the DJ in-game. I have 6 of the best vanilla disks that I could use. Its a Saturday at 11 AM for me, I live in NY which is in Eastern Standard Time. I do have an event to go to that day but its scheduled for 4:30 PM so I will probably be able to make it. Thanks

Heres a suggestion.. There should be awards like there was at the Valentines Dance. Like Best Costumes, King & Queen, ect ect. If you guys are doing that, Ill help keep track of the votes. c;

We can arrange for that to happen, depending how much quartz it is. If you would like it returned we will most likely be able to do that. Me and crzy will get back to you with an answer asap.

Hi! While I love that you're doing a community thing for the server and everyone, would you mind not calling it the Opticraft 2013 Prom? It's just others and I have done the proms before and we call it 'Prom' and that's kind of our trademark thing. Would you mind just calling it a party since it's not our thing? I hope this doesn't sound rude :D

Im sorry, but Its too late to just call it lame "party". Its already Prom. Just as I Told Lord we can work together if you would like but Im not giving this whole thing up.

I'm not asking you to give it up, just change the name, the 'party rockas' (the people that help with our proms) always use 2012 Opticraft Prom! corresponding to the year.

Im not changing it. Im doing this because no one had stepped up to do it yet. Now that I have done it you and Lord are acting like I have commited a crime by organizing this.

Honestly guys of the "Official Opticraft Prom Comitee", If you plan on putting on your own Prom I will just change this to a Summer Dance or something. Is that what you guys would like? And If I do, I am totally gonna be in the "Official Opticraft Prom Comitee".

Agreeing with Lema, we did not mess it up. Have we ever let you down the past couple of events? I just wished you could've just had faith and just been excited as for what was coming. I don't want there to be two separate things, that's just excessive. You can certainly be on the committee, but stop worrying about the details. We have a mumble DJ and all that, as this is not our first event. We have experience from past events and we try to further build on that to make this year even better! Please consider these things with an open mind.

This is now a Summer Dance. Sorry guys. The "official Prom comittee" was raging at me bad. I finally changed it so they would stop whining. But if they dont make a post for Prom within the week this is going back to Prom of 2013 again. Idk what they say. Also, sorry 2468avc I have had to cut you from DJ, I Just can't have 2 DJ's and 360 asked first.

Sadly, this thing is not going well. :( We have not been able to make any progress so far and I have been too busy. :( I think I will have to call this off, sorry guys. :'( I will refund any donations made for this event. Please Lock. :'(
