This is Kascas bringing you the Pirate Treasure Event!

Some time ago, in the waters i live in :)
i found an ancient hidden pirate cavern! :o
after further exploring, i found tons of raided chests filled with goodies! :o
i have already looted the most of the chests 8)
.....but there are those that require codes to unlock :-\
the codes i lost while working on my many projects :'(
since im to bothered to find all of the codes, and my birthday is nearing :P
i am inviting the whole opticraft community to help me find the codes! 8)
if you manage to find a code, the treasure value is yours! :o
Event:
on the 1st of may 8pm GMT!(3pm EST) the hunt for codes will start :D
dont worry if you cant come, the codes will not all be found easely and quickly ;)
there will be alot hidden codes(on signs) all around my many homes :P
there will be 10 codes given out every day (random time), until the 20th of may ;)
22 may is my birthday ;D, in celebration of it, it will end on the 20th, with the most valuable chests! :o
How to play!:
go to /home kascas, all my homes are displayed there
choose a home to scout, and search for a sign with a colored code on it

When you find one, write the code down, destroy the sign
/Msg or /Mail me with your found code to redeem your prize
Rules:
1 You cannot be near any of my homes within 60 mins till start of event(hiding signs)or ban for that day
2 Obbey the opticraft rules
3 Everyone is allowed to join, staff cannot use any mod+ powers ofc, keep it fair
4 No building/destroying anywhere in my area, or you will be banned from the rewards(harvest items excluded)
5 Only 3 codes can be redeemed daily for each person! to counteract 1 person taking all

Cool, I'll mark my calendar lol. One thing, what do we do if we find a code hidden around one of your homes? Is code like a password for a chest, and do we have to find the pirate cave to get to the corresponding chest?

This sounds fun, but I don't get how it works. Why are there codes? How do they work? Why don't you just open the chest and get it? Much easier.

This should help; them chests are waiting at /home kascas treasure, and will be unlocked with the codes on the signs
The signs are just an added objective, you find the code, then find the corresponding chest.

Are there borders? Like fences that you have gone to for away? I am scared that I might get lost... XD

no borders, most are close by some require just that little more exploring :)

i came online an hour after the competition start. everything was already gone by then. lol
Edit: Kascas. I noticed the time was 3 pm est. that would be 2 pm cst. 1 pm mst. and 12 pm pst.
I'm in the CST time zone. Personally i dont think the times are really helpful to the USA timezone players. For those still in school, most schools won't end until at least 3 pm their time (this is an assumption...i dont know for sure). This does not include the time it takes to get home. At any rate, only those in EST will get somewhat of a chance to get online and join.
I propose, to better accomodate some of our U.S. players, to move over the competition start time forward at least 2 hours.
So the new start time would be 5 pm est. I believe this time is more well rounded to players globally. because it guarantees most will be home.
but ya its not up to me. its up to you.

as much as i would like to have more players participating, i myself am from europe
i will need to attent ALL of the days at the same time, wich is a big problem
i chosen the evening(9pm for me) couse im certain that i will be able to attent at least 90%
the other 10% will be held at other times i guess
3 hours forward would mean that i need to stay up till 1-2am daily wich is ok if its vacation
but i have work in the weekends, and next week school starts again so...thats a problem
im going to make the signs harder to find, without hints,
so that there will be signs left when the other timezones get online

you will see me enchant certain rules during the comming days to improve the "fairness factor"

mail me the code and break the sign when you find one(max 3 each hunt)

i skipped the chests couse the 1 and half hour work daily was not worth it :P
9 signs left after this hunt yet again

Are the signs that are not found after the final day deleted?

at the final day there will be lots of hints until the last is found :)

quite today at the 8th hunt :)
a mere 5 signs found so far, means the 9th will have tons 8)

I only ever found 1 sign. (In the Maze) I hope to find more, but I practically just hit a stump in the road and cant get past it. Well, just keep trying I guess...
