Never get dell computers, if you are looking for a new computer. They overheat easily, and once they overheat they break. You have to take extremely good care of them.

Well, sir, you are my king of derp.
*1 computer breaks... must be all computers*
I have been the proud owner of a dell 13' laptop for getting on 3 years. It does everything I want, and has never permanantly broken. I've dropped it, scratched it, overheated it 50+ times. The most severe damage is the "p" key fell off, so we superglued it back on. Apart from that, I find their chargers a bit flimsy, but that isn't the computer.
I couldn't recommend my laptop more :)

I agree with Claw, I own a Dell and it works just fine.

i have nothing against dell, but i prefer hp/compaq, or levno

Mac all the way. Just not for gaming.

Mac's (pfft) Acer is The way to Go!

Mac... if you don't mind overpaying for shit hardware that is dressed up and sprayed with perfume to hide the shit.
Meanwhile Dell is the same as far as the overpriced hardware and all, except they obviously don't sell Macs. I'm all for Lenovo, Asus, Fujitsu, and even HP although their hardware isn't quite as reliable either.

Macs are overpriced garbage.
Custom PCs and Laptops are the way to go!

I've always showed hatred towards Macs, but I've been using one at work and I must say, for general use they are amazing.
I actually think if I tried doing half the stuff I do with it on a PC, it would be much more painful than using a Mac.
But, I still like PC's a whole lot more =p

A mac is better for simple things like checking an email.
Not only do macs lag, they cant use half the downloadable things.
If you wanna be a gamer, dont think about mac but otherwise they are fine.
I prefer HP by the way.

I asked a computer peep about DELL, but, on this occasion, I have to agree with Brendan. He said that DELL are very cheap and breakdown easily...

The laptop that I have has lasted more than two years, and it's still running great (Sony VAIO). Sounds like Dell is making more scrap boxes than they are making decent computers nowadays. Whatever happened to the time when whatever you bought would last a lifetime, eh?

I still come back to the fact that my dell laptop has been running a lot longer than the Sony Vaio I had before it (Its lasted me about 2.5 years so far, and still going strong). And its a lot more durable too.
