I don't see a problem with staff giving to other staff... Snape has placed most of the chests in the tree they just need to be unlocked.  Everyone feel free to come decorate and enjoy the tree.  /home vorereznor tree

If this is a server project, y start on it when everyone hasn't set on one idea?

The subject is still open to discussion.

I am in favour of finding a gift that every single person on the server is willing to contribute to... but till that happens I am volunteering my time and resources into starting this Christmas tree, it may take months to complete.

There is a nice forest snow biome right next to spawn protection in the member world that no one is building in... The staff can look out their balconies across the lake at the Giant Tree.


I love the Christmas tree idea and I will be willing to help build, supply materials and donate one of my homes to the location for easy warp.

Good topic, here is my take.

Giving away diamonds for votes takes away from the game... but it is good incentive to vote.  If Opticraft takes away the diamonds for votes it will be a couple months or longer for the true value of diamonds to surface at market.

But finding a new incentive for voting is key. The 2nd home is a good one (it was the reason I voted for awhile, till I purchased the homes package). Other ideas may be to increase the number of winners each month to 10 voters say 10-6 get coal ps and 5-3 get lapis ps and 2-1 get diamond ps. With xp now easier to obtain in game maybe adding 5 levels with a vote.
