Default Texture Pack
[1.7.4]
Download Here (http://www.mediafire.com/download/m2l2lj2oohwatuc/CrzysAnimatedDefault.zip)

Started making this texture pack after 1.5, and due to being asked for months to update it, I started updating it.
The textures are the default 16x16 resolution, with (mostly) subtle animations that don't distract from the
game or get in the way. I'll update this topic as I go, with the list of items and blocks that are animated listed below.

Names in Blue are new or updated as of 12/1/13.
Any requests for new animated blocks would be appreciated.

Animated Items
Diamond
Lava Bucket
Water Bucket
Blaze Powder

Animated Blocks
Diamond Ore
Redstone Ore
Emerald Ore
Piston (Sticky and Normal)
Dropper
Redstone Torches
Beacons
Comparator
Repeater
Gold Ore
Redstone Lamp
Powered Rail
Jack o' Lantern
Brewing Stand

Pretty nice, I don't really like animated blocks all that much but I quite like the piston texture. Also, just a heads up if you didn't know that all you need in a resource pack are the files that you've changed- no need to put unedited ones in (It replaces the rest to default). It reduces the folder to around 100kb compared to 2.5mb before, a lot easier to update the resource pack too :P

I know :P just got used to editing it as a resource pack, those were included when I converted it. Gonna add some more textures today.

I remember this, me and Spyow tried it out a while back. Pretty much the only texture pack I would ever use. It's amazing!

Could you post pictures of the textures please?

It's literally default... just with small animations, so posting pics wouldn't actually show too much

EDIT: Added the water and lava buckets as an example lol >.> I may do that with the rest of them and put them in spoilers

It might be a bit much but try making glass compatible with optifine's connected textures feature.

Some stuff which could use animation (Your choice of if/how to implement it):

Glowstone
Ingots
Precious blocks (iron, gold, diamond)

do you have plans to animate pictures frames? I've seen animated picture frames in a friends texture pack, so I thought I would ask.

You mean like item frames? the items are animated if you put them in one, otherwise what would I animate on the frame?

Animate the glass?

When using optifine glass blocks are connected by block placement, so it looks smoothed out

From what I understand, only the default one, or ones that have a specific option for it. However, if you're not animating glass, possibly deleting it from the texture pack may fix the optifine issue.

Apparently compressing things on a mac causes issues if you use the default archiver... soooo yeah fixed that and now here's the link for it again.

I just tried out the texture and it is great. One suggestion for another block is to make the eye of ender or maybe blink like it was a real eye.

As long as you give credit, and maybe put a link to this post.

I have been thinking about that actually.
