I logged in with the 'minecraft console client' for my PC (its not minechat apparently), and teleported to my home (i was currently in another part of my town. As soon as i start walking towards that area, I get kicked with the same error. Which basically means half my land isn't accessible. What can I do about this?

The process for Linux is essentially the same. The only difference is the save location.
This applies to Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, and other derivatives
You will eventually end up at "/home/username/.minecraft/screenshots" Here's how to get there:
Navigate to your home directory. It should be "/home/username/" Its the one with the little house next to it in the file browser
Hit Ctrl + H. Hidden files are now visible.
There should be a folder called ".minecraft"
inside this folder is a folder called "screenshots" this is where your screenshots are.
Upload them as your would normally

Now that there's two servers, I personally think there can (or may be in the future) with some parts of the forum.
One of these is the Server News. The news for both the Survival and Creative Server are posted in "Server News" under Opticraft SMP, rather then each having their own separate news forum or being put into a general board (which is what this suggestion is about.
Another example is the support section (excluding ban appeals)
When only the SMP server was around, all support type questions would go into that forum. Now, there is nowhere for general support question, not pertaining to any server in particular (i.e., general issues with minecraft it self)
I think an idea could be to merge the discussion board with a 'general board'. This would be a board that doesn't belong to any server in particular; It could be used for the current general discussion, helpful articles, off-topic, and introductions, with the addition of the server news, and a generalized support section.
Just an idea that popped into my head last night

I always run minecraft through steam, because: you can shift+tab to quick message your friends on steam while playing minecraft.
Now if Overwolf would stop being a butt I could also use Skype without tabbing out of mc, and use steam chat through Overwolf. Simplifying life.

The first is /togglealerts, or /ta, which when on, will notify you when other players say your username.
Is this only for you full name? Or will it work when someone says 'kag'? Those who have been on the server recently may have already noticed a new feature that gives players colored names above their heads, and in the tab menu.
And is this something that would eventually make its way into the SMP server?

I really don't understand much about computers besides how to right and left click.
Someone plays minecraft too much :p It dies all the time. I'll be building away, enjoying myself, when all of a sudden, I just stop. It runs out of battery faster than an iPhone. I think you would be better off investing in a new mouse.

I'll start this topic of with my evolution of computers over the years. 1: Product page This was the piece of crap computer that I used to TRY and play games on. And it was awful. Specs: OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit CPU: AMD Fusion E300 Dual-Core @ 1.3 GHz RAM: 1x 2GB DDR3-1333 (One ram slot was dead, the 1GB stick in the other slot couldn't be used GPU: Onboard graphics; no expansion slots for upgrade HDD: Hitachi crap that comes with all HP computers This thing died a few months ago due to hard drive failure (Hitachi crap), and has since been used as a footrest. I may eventually put Ubuntu on it and use it as a home server or something. 2: Product page This is my laptop, that is halfway decent, but definitely not designed for gaming. My grandparents got it for $200 used and recently gave it to me because they don't use it anymore. Specs: OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (Downgraded from Windows 8 Pro when bought to Windows 7 Home Premium, replaced that with Windows 7 Professional when grandmother dropped the computer and destroyed hard drive) and Windows 10 Technical Preview (will be upgraded to when 10 is released) CPU: Intel Core-i3-370M @ 2.4 GHz RAM: 1x 4GB DDR3-1600 SO-DIMM GPU: Intel HD Graphics HDD: 500GB WD Caviar Blue 7200RPM (Replaced stock Hitachi crap when grandmother dropped it) Still works today, although it appears to be on its last legs. 3: Product page My grandparents old laptop. I've noticed that the command /near doesn't seem to be working. Even when people are near you, it show "None!" when you type in the command  Also, people in local chat are still able to hear me.
