General Discussion / The Server's Future.... 6 months on
« on: February 11, 2013, 12:42:56 am »
Some of you may remember me as the guy who put up the post about opticraft's classic server's future back in august 2012.
After forgetting about all of this (and not having time to be here) for 6 months, I decided to come back, around a year after I first came to opticraft classic.
The place is desolate. For the 2 hours I was logged on for, only two other players logged on (one was automatically banned my antigrief). There was nobody but me online for 95% of the time.
While looking back on my previous builds, they just seemed dead, static, unchanging and merely continuing in the server till the occasional hope of someone modifying them would come when that someone would log on.
This is not good. Opticraft classic seems to be already in a future of stretched timescales with practically nothing happening in it for hours, or even days.
Please give your thoughts on this, I really want to know your opinions on this whole thing. This problem is showing that opticraft classic need something to get it out of it's heat-death.
