Why you should become a moderator: Over the course of the last nine months, I have fallen in love with this server. Now, as I reflect on the wonderful experience that I have had, I find that I crave the opportunity to help enhance the playing experience of others, just as the current staff has done for me.

I am helpful, knowledgeable, mature, level-headed, and eager to help in any way that I can. Most importantly, though, I am a very present player, having played over 2 hours per day (on average) since I joined the server -all without a single ban. I KNOW that if I am selected as moderator, I will be able to help maintain order, aid members with a calm and polite demeanor, and work with my fellow staff members to keep this wonderful server functioning at its normal, amazing level.

You could always just press F3 and write down your coordinates and then subtract or add based off of how many blocks you walked

Did you even read the things that we had already said?

Well... false.

I predict that the next person has one or more numbers in their username.

Definitely Sahara. As long as you have cover and water, you'd be fine.

Would you rather work in a job that you hate and make $1,000,000 annually or work in a job that you love and make $25,000 annually?

...Because you are thinking linearly. What if you wanted to trace the edge of a track to see how long it was? If the track wasn't just made of strait lines, then you would have a very tough time doing it.

Also, consider the implications of being able to see how far you went if you started and stopped in the same place. In that case, a pedometer would really come in handy to track the length of your path.

Be creative. If you HAVE to try and find a reason to shoot this down, you may be able to. I find that it is much more fun to imagine the possibilities.

step 1 press F3
step 2 remember your coords
step 3 walk
step 4 check coords
step 5 substract bingo?

My only problem with this is that it can't realistically measure curved paths, paths that backtrack, or paths that move along more than one axis. the pedometer output could output something like:

(click to show/hide)

...which would be nice, because then you could ignore drops in height, measure drops in height as you descend stairs, you could measure backtrack and curves, etc. all with one tool.

I'm thinking something as simple as:

(click to show/hide)

Simple. Quick. Done.

I think that there should be a pedometer function, especially in light of the recent horse update. This would really help people measure track lengths. This would also help people measure block placement for larger builds.

The only two functions necessary would be:
/ped read     -- outputs the number of steps taken since "/ped clear" was typed.
/ped clear    -- restarts the count

What can you bring to this board: I can bring quality control, leadership, and expertise. I plan well (As is evident by my luxurious, nearly completed .5k track), and would hope to help bring this quality control to the OHO.

Cave. It'd be pretty rough to do anything in a cylinder...

Would you rather live in a nice house in a scary neighborhood or a scary house in a nice neighborhood?

Slloth, Brah. I feel like it's be easier to put down something that already looks dead. Plus, I could probs just put it in the road and walk away.

Would you rather have all of the in-game diamond that you could want OR the in-game ability to place unlimited water and lava (without a bucket)

Would you rather tattoo OR pierce your tongue?
