I'm thinking of creating a town in the wilderness, here are the requirements if you want to join
1. You need a protection stone(any size) we don't want to encourage greif's
2. You build your own house, and you contribute building material to any public building projects
3. You fend for yourself. If you need food, get some yourself.
As of April 1st, the location has been found.
If I change my mind, I'll post that.
If you want to join the town, reply to this comment and put your Minecraft username in the reply. Also say you will join.

If you want to make a giant jungle tree, you place 4 saplings in a 2 by 2 block square, and use bonemeal on one. Then, you will have one of those big trees

These are some tips to avoid griefs:
1. Use protection stones:the greifers on this server target buildings without protection because they have no skill with hacking
2: set your /home outside your door. You don't want greifers to trash your stuff inside
3: make doorframes out of hard to destroy material
4: report griefs. This helps people fix the crime, and helps them gauge the server wide problem of greifing.
5: go out to the wilderness. Living on the fringe makes it difficult for greifers to walk to your house.
These tip's should help you avoid greifing.

Why not just destroy the blocks next to the door? That's how greifers get into my other house all the time.

yes, but whole towns? I know that individual ruins can be found on the server, normally a house with no walls, just a door, and chests and whatever else is privacy protected.

No, this isn't a cool idea for something a person can do in the sever. This is a issue. I lived in a non registered collection of houses a while ago. I was there first, with my hill house. Then my friends kingkirby101 and songhead came and built a walled collection of houses, with roads, farms, and a gate. Then griefs began happening. First my farm, then my hill house(It was for sale for only 2000!) then it began to happen more and more. Then everyone moved out.(I know songhead and kingkirby101 moved to some swamp) and now, it's a bunch of cobble stone walls in the middle of the wilderness(the greifers don't know that yet) In fact, you can see this town by typing /home thedude114 and going away from the fence and towards buildings that are opposite of my house. Also, is this a common issue? Or just this township? Anyways, this a effect of the greifer issue.
