not gonna watch the video now, bookmarked it though. didn't the Hawaiians trust the Americans at first when the came there for farming but then the Americans inserted themselves into the government they eventually took over and imprisoning their queen?
And then they forced the hawaiians to sign a treaty under the threat of war, then they illegally annexed Hawaii, then when the United nations said that colonialism has to come to an end, Hawaii was voted into statehood, but there were only 2 choices on the ballot: remain a territory of the US or become a state. In other terms, us Americans broke international treaty law, multiple UN resolutions, and plenty of other important things. I'm surprised that the US is still in the UN.
